ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Ability Sports Africa is a community based organization registered legally in 2019, but it has been in existence since 2017, the organization was formed basing on the UN Sustainable Development goal 2030 (goal 3, goal 4, goal 8 and goal 16). We want to achieve these goals through an inclusive adaptive sports and creative arts activities for our children and youth with disabilities.
We address the problem of societal stigma and systematic discrimination by fostering reverse inclusion, we empower our children and youth with disabilities to take full responsibilities to initiate and conduct inclusive adaptive sports and physical literacy programs in their schools and community, this helps them to gain the confidence, self esteem and the social well being to leave to their full potential in Uganda.
Our beneficiaries are disabled:-
